What *is* this thing?! (an explanation)

So, you wanna know what a “surrealist game” is? I’ll tell you.

In short, these ‘games’ of ours are complicated word-play, usually done in a manner that leaves a great deal of the work unseen, until the end. There is a great article on this topic HERE (yay, Wikipedia!) – although you have to follow some links to really get a grasp of it.

The great thing about these is that anyone can do them, anywhere. You don’t have to do it our way – we just made up our own rules – anybody could grab some friends and some java and get to work. The main idea is to just let the words go. Screw context, screw format – this type of exploration is supposed to be off the map of known charts. Go crazy.

You could argue that this is nothing more than juvenile ranting, filled with disgusting and vulgar language – but that would highlight your own repressed nature and ignorance. Really, if you don’t like we don’t care. Not to be snotty about it, but there it is. Some folks are ready to stimulate their pineal gland and activate their dormant yeti genes, others… well, others are just pinks.

I hope this helps to clear things up. I’ll try to amend this post later, to list the hows, whys and wherefores, but maybe I’ll just post it to the blog.
